Four principles run through a serious jewellery curriculum — hold any school to them.

  1. Hands first — theory arrives by video or pre-reading; studio time is for making. The blended model says it precisely.
  2. Small classes — bench skills are proprioceptive; an instructor must SEE your hands. Past a dozen students, feedback thins.
  3. Assessed standards — every course ends against a professional bar: the finishing standard a boutique buyer would apply.
  4. Honest progression — a named ladder where every course assumes the last (the school states it on the philosophy page).

Ask any school to demonstrate all four on a visit — book one. We do.
